Environmental Policy
In
June 2007 European Union's regulating body enforced
R.E.A.C.H regulation (Registration, Evaluation,
Authorisation and restriction of Chemical substances) which
addresses the issue of using potentially hazardous chemical
substances and their impact on human health and environment.
The aim is to create awareness and managing the risks
involved in the use of these chemical substances. They
created a regulatory list of chemicals that are exempt
and/or need to be regulated. If you find any substance in
the list it does not mean that it is banned, It simply means
that you need to get authorization from the R.E.A.C.H.
By
using these directive measure and regulations the European
Union has given industry a responsibility of protecting the
environment from the use of these chemicals in
manufacturing. JP Recycling does not use any substances
currently included in the SVHC (Substances of Very High
Concern) under R.E.A.C.H.
